There's nothing predictable about DWIGHT DEON. Dwight's powerful voice and hard driving rock and roll sound explodes, surprises and continually rewards his listeners from start to finish. Anthems for the Restless is an unforgettable collection of songs that is the culmination of a compelling personal and musical journey.

At the end of the summer of 2007, Dwight Deon had become a household name to millions of people across Canada. The top 4 finalist on CTV's Canadian Idol had reached a high point in his musical career and proven his worth against thousands of other young singers to secure his rank amongst the alumni of Idol's elite.

He regrouped with his band mates: Aran Hill (bass), Q (drums) and Adam Driscoll (violin), and moved into Sound Market Studios in Halifax. They began the initial tracking for Anthems for the Restless in December of 2007. Deon, a graduate of the recording arts program, undertook engineering, mixing and producing the album, along with Terry Pulliam (Sloan, Buck 65) acting as co-producer.

What ensued was a grueling recording schedule, filled with long days and nights at the studio, an almost obsessive compulsive attention to detail and countless hours of re-writes, in order to achieve the sonic and artistic watermark d'Eon had set for the band.  and a fall national tour in the works, Deon and Co. are set to unleash Anthems For The Restless to their audience at large.
