The Vancouver Province calls her voice extraordinary. The Star Phoenix calls it stunning. As a songwriter, she creates a fresh sound by mixing the known elements of jazz, soul and folk into a unique blend while allowing her lyrics to draw on an equally diverse range of topics. As a performer, she is playful and witty, joyful and genuine, soulful and compelling. Her latest release "Sugar" won her this praise from the Ottawa Xpress, "A bright burst of colour amidst the many shades of indie grey."

Born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, raised in Vancouver and living in Toronto, Coco Love Alcorn is a Canadian through and through. The long list of artists she's toured or recorded with include 54 40, Ani DiFranco, Burton Cummings, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jesse Cooke & Loudon Wainwright III. The past two years have been the busiest to date, with over 200 concerts and festival appearances. Keep an eye out for Coco's spring '09 release "Joyful" that features new fan favorites, "Revolution", "Intellectual Boys", and "I Got A Bicycle".
