The first women's intro to Mountain Biking clinic held in Kentville on July 26 was a great success with 13 participants. Course instructors Sue Earle (aka: Bikergirl) and Carolyn Towell did a fantastic job.

Summer Solstice XC Race
AVMBA and Bicycle Nova Scotia are please to host a provincially santioned mountain bike race @ the Woodville Hiking Trails on June 22nd, 2008. Registration starts at 8:30am and junior races start at 10am with the main races commencing at noon. Participants can register on location. Additional information can be found at www.bicycle.ns.ca.

THE MUDLASSES Annapolis Valley's Women's Mountain Bike Club has officially started up with women's group rides for all levels and will soon be offering a skills clinic for women with avmba. Club coaches will be on hand to provide support.
